Lánchíd 19 boutique hotel offers 45 rooms and 3 panorama suites in a minimalist style, complemented by unique design objects.
Every room has an individual look and is equipped with air-conditioning, free internet access (wifi), SMART tv set featuring international channels, telephone, minibar and laptop-size safe deposit (as basic room fittings).
Most of the rooms offer splendid views over Budapest, its symbolic Chain Bridge, the Danube river and its historic riverbank or the Buda Royal Palace. On the top floor three penthouse spaces, called panorama suites come with huge terraces and oval jacuzzi bathtubs to provide an incredible Budapest view.
The creative concept of the rooms was developed by young artists of Moholy-Nagy Arts University of Hungary who made up creative solutions to meet the needs of the Budapest boutique hotel’s multicultural clientele.
The walls of the rooms feature imaginative themes inspired by modern designer chairs. Some of the rooms are creatively interactive. Guests can dip into the weekly wardrobe to dress a ‘naked’ Erwan & Ronan Bouroullec chair, ‘watch a film’ through one of George G. Sowden’s Pacific chairs or trip the light fantastic with one of Philippe Starck’s Louis & Victoria Ghost chairs. Guests might also find themselves in a wedding ceremony with a white Panton chair for a bride.
